A Construction crew dug up and repaired a damaged pipe. A CCTV crew inspected the pipe to verify the repair was done properly. They were in for a surprise.

The CCTV camera followed the bird to the next upstream manhole. The Water Authority crew assessed the situation and were able to retrieve the bird from the manhole. The bird was released into the alley and was last seen flying away.
